A service and UX design studio with one principle: every interface, every service, every decision — designed to work for every nervous system. We call this neuro-inclusion. Accessibility is not a feature we add — it is the floor we build on.
We offer four services. Each one stands alone, and each one connects to the others. Most engagements start with one — usually an accessibility audit or a research sprint — and grow from there.
We design for the autistic user, the ADHD user, the dyslexic user, the anxious user, the tired user, the unfamiliar user. Not as an accommodation added at the end of a project — as the starting point of every project.
This means three things in practice. One: we follow EU EAA and WCAG 2.2 AA as the floor, not the ceiling. Two: we use lived-experience research with neurodivergent participants, not assumptions about them. Three: the choices a user can make — pace, mode, depth — are part of the design, not optional extras.
This website is itself an example. You chose how to enter. You can pause, slow down, switch modes, or read a plain text version at any point. The content does not change — only the way you reach it.
The studio works as a team. Every project carries a fixed set of roles: a Design Strategist, a UX Architect, a Senior Researcher, an Accessibility Lead, and a Lead Designer. We do not scale by hiring more juniors — we scale by working with fewer clients more deeply.
The team model fits projects above 1 million HUF. Below that, we are not the right choice — and we will say so.
We are based in Budapest and work across the EU. We comply with the European Accessibility Act and WCAG 2.2 AA by default in every deliverable.
Enterprise, public sector, scale-up. Hungary and across the EU, since 2019.
Tell us what you are trying to ship and where you are stuck. We will reply within two working days with either a scoping call or an honest "not us — try them".
hello@blve.huWe are a service and UX design studio in Budapest. We help organisations design websites, apps and services that work for every kind of user — including people who are autistic, have ADHD, have dyslexia, are blind, use screen readers, or just feel tired and confused.
We check if your website or app meets the law (the European Accessibility Act and WCAG 2.2 AA). We test it with real assistive technologies like screen readers and keyboard-only navigation. We give you a written report with a list of problems and a plan to fix them. This takes about four to six weeks.
We design the whole experience of a service — not just the screens. We map every step a customer takes, every action your team takes behind the scenes, and how all of it fits together. This takes about three to six months.
We design the screens, the navigation, and how people use complex software. We build accessibility into every wireframe from the first day, not at the end. We work mostly with banks, telecoms, retailers and public sector. This takes about two to four months.
We do research to find out what users actually need and what is hard for them. We work with disabled and neurodivergent users — not assumptions about them. This takes about four to ten weeks.
We are a team of senior designers, not a freelancer with subcontractors. Every project has the same five roles: a design strategist, a UX architect, a senior researcher, an accessibility lead, and a lead designer.
We work on projects above one million Hungarian forint. If your project is smaller, we will tell you, and recommend someone else.
We are based in Budapest. We work across the European Union.
We have worked with: LEGO, McKinsey & Company, Shell, GE HealthCare, United Nations, UniCredit, K&H Bank, OTP Bank, Magyar Telekom, MVM, Budapest Park, Liget Budapest, MOME, Jegy.hu, Billingo, Exalt, XLabs.
